Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. We Are Changing The Sawing Industry, Direct Internet Sales I was also thinking of adding a link belt which should help. Question, would these pulleys be any better then the $26 TSC case aluminum pulley, as far an accurate bore? I think the browning has 2 set screws too. I was looking at a Browning BK80 7.75" x 3/4 bore (I think they make the "Lesson" pulleys also). I went to TSC and bought a cast aluminum pulley and it was just as sloppy or worse! So I am going to order a new pulley for the drive shaft. I didn't put a dial indicator on it but I think it is straight. I mic'd the shaft several places and it is 0.749 So I think it is good. You can actually wobble it around a bit on the shaft. I think the original 8" wheel pulley slips on way too easy on the 3/4" drive shaft. There is a little more vibration then I would like. On another note, you may be a good person to ask The saw is basically back together. Also when you pressed on one side of the bearing/shaft the other side would pop out. I am glad the bearing were "slip" fit into the casting as I was thinking the entire time of how I was going to get those lower bearings into place. I was also careful to not scratch the shaft itself. Thanks, Point taken I was careful to push from the centre of the bearing. Re: Project: Delta Milwaukee Band saw restoration
